I am absolutely stoked to be playing Eternal since it would be my first ever Doom game ever!ĭoom Eternal combat is primarily about defense and resource rationing. I did pick up Doom Eternal eventually because I felt it performs more consistently than the port of the 2016 title. I tried to reply to each comment and I am sorry I missed out on some. I was off of here for a while and that's why I replied to your comments late. Update - Thanks for chipping in, everyone. Is that how it is? If you’d call both of them the two best FPS titles on the Switch, which would you give the top position? That aside, from what I have been able to infer, Eternal provides better gameplay, notching up the good bits of its predecessor. Do you think what I’m saying is correct about the older title looking better? I know it’s more about the experience of playing a title like that on the go, and handheld is the only way I can play it on my Lite, but still, how’d you compare the graphics and performance of the two titles. I haven’t played either and I’m admittedly pretty much a layman in understanding the finer points of graphical performance but Doom 2016 does look considerably sharper and crisper to me. This might be an unpopular opinion and I’m concededly saying this just by comparing Switch gameplay footage side by side.
